I am from Calderdale College and trying to find a speaker to come and talk to our students on Transgender issues on an awareness raising day. My email is leahm@calderdale.ac.uk Thanks

Re: Michael

This is beautiful, I have never heard it before. Although I am critical of some aspects of the Internet the one thing I value and defend is for us all to be able to state our position on things whilst respecting the views of others. I hope that you will get some peace from your symptoms.

Re: The Power of the Internet

A married couple I am friends with claimed to have this disease when I first met them, I personally thought they were delusional. Well after knowing them for 5 years and having stayed with them 1 year I learned the hard way that no, it is not delusional. I started with the itching and a few Doc appts later and a few Derm appts and i still was left with no answers, that was 4 years ago. I think the symptoms list you commented on was more a list of the varying symptoms, not a list of all symptoms a person will get if they have morgellons. The fibers that people talk about getting in my opinion are some sort of hyphae, I have many photos and videos I took myself with a usb mircrscope...this is real my friend, and it is absolutely miserable to have. I dont get the lesions (yet thankgod), but my friends do. I worked as an EMT and in a Hospital for many years before getting this and I hear a large number of those infected are health care personel. If you would like some pictures or to view some videos let me know, They mostly were collected from skin using Olive oil to draw them out. Recently I heard nilk of magnesia worked as well to draw them out and when i tried it I was overwhelmed at how many little specks came out, under closer observation Ive found these specks to be the fibers (hyphae) intertwined and made solid looking as they are in hardened sebum (guessing). Also I used to find lots of demodex mites in all areas, but now no longer find those as I hope to have killed them all using Diatomaceous Earth and lindane. There is alot of people that look and sound absolutely nuts on the internet regarding this, try to keep in mind how having this disease with its relentless itching and stings, the sores and a ton of other symptoms would make one feel, especially when they get no medical assistance with it at all.,..out of all of my appts, not once did the Doctors even examine my skin, they just stood back a bit and were out of there asap.. this is a recurring theme with a large number of the people repoting they have morgellons. Like I said I worked in the medical community so I knew how to approach the doctors, didnt mention morgellons, just the itching symptoms, and didnt go in raving like a lunatic, yet still the Docs came nowhere near me, didnt examine me, and sent me away asap with a prescription for lindane.. So I think you should reevaluate your article, I really do.
Thanks for your time,
Craig

Re: Is this any sort of life to have?

Thank you for your kind comments Lesley. There is only so much one individual can do, but I try my best. It's always good to hear that someone, somewhere is listening.

Re: Is this any sort of life to have?

Rebecca, your Blog is brilliant. You inspire us to get off our itchy, sore bums and do something for ourselves. A few years ago I wrote a course for people who are caring for a loved one. I called it Light at the end of the Tunnel. I was encouraging those carers not to wait for the light at the end of the tunnel but to walk/run down that tunnel and light it for themselves.

Re: Buy Shares In Pharmaceuticals Now!!

Rebecca, I am so glad you are able to get back on the only thing that has worked for me. Also - since I work at a pharmacy, I appreciate that you are a "believer"!
